Broccoli Hall has been a place of healing and wonder, an environment of nurturing and fascinating learning, a sanctuary from the shadow of my old school, and a community of exceptional people I never expected I would be fortunate enough to find.

The community you have built has ultimately saved my life and, no doubt, the Iives of many others throughout the years. It took a scared little 11 year old and turned him into an eager young man, excited to go on all the adventures his family at Corwin-Russell have prepared him for. Remember it’s not “Good-bye,” it’s “See you later!”

Corwin-Russell has been Lily’s home for 6 years. You and the staff inspired her in an environment of kindness, compassion, acceptance, and respect for each student. Lily had opportunities to lead and succeed, building confidence as a student, and finding her voice as a student, as a writer, and as a person. We are so grateful to you and the C-R staff for your infinite patience and unrelenting faith in Lily these many years. She has thrived at C-R, and grown into a confident, articulate and self-aware student, who is ready to take on new challenges.

My four years at Broccoli Hall were honestly the experience of a lifetime, without which I wouldn't have discovered my passion for theatre. The path that I'm on, and even my own sense of purpose to an extent, were influenced by your decision to let me shine on the stage.. It's because of that I know where I truly thrive. Thank you!

I don’t know if it was the kindness of the staff, the acceptance of my peers, or the flexibility of my teachers. Something about Broccoli took the scared, insecure kid that I was, who didn’t think they’d ever know what it felt like to have a community, and turned them into a scared, less insecure “adult” who knows that they’ll never really be alone again if they know where to look. I cannot thank you all enough for being there for me, even when I couldn’t be there at all. Through the trials and tribulations and absolute horror of being a teenager, you put the light back in my eyes.

Thank you for everything you have done for the school and me. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to grow and become the person I am today. You opened your doors and let me join this amazing community and, for that, I will be forever grateful. There aren’t enough words for me to express how grateful I am for everything. Because of you and this school, I feel ready to take on whatever comes my way.

Thank you for everything you’ve done in creating Broccoli Hall. It was my entry into real school and helped me grow and change in a wonderful community. I can’t speak for everyone else but I know so many people are grateful for the school you’ve put together. I’ll never forget my time here.
